The locals of the villages
Patsianos and Kapsodassos on the South coast
used to move to this mountains-village in the hot summertime.
Now, since short time it is connected to Imbros in the West
and to Asigonia in the East by a good, asphalted road

Asfendos / Sfakia

This is another traditional summer refuge nearby, West of Kallikratis.
From here the Asfendos gorge extends south to Agios Nektarios at the Libyan coast.
